Make Leadership, Ethics and Community Your Legacy

Concordia University School of Law offers a forward-thinking vision for a juris doctor program: an urban, accessible, professional experience that extends the life-long values of ethics and community to the graduating legal professional.

At Concordia Law, our goal is to shape not only the lawyers of tomorrow, but future business, political, and community leaders. The academic program at the law school is designed to support students in this endeavor by offering a challenging and contemporary curriculum, real-world experiences, and a focus on ethics.

Mentorship Program

The law school's Legacy Mentor Program will encourage networking between law students and local professionals. Mentors will offer support and guidance throughout law school. Each student will be paired with a lawyer or judge to allow for opportunities to observe and engage in conversation about lawyering experiences that will help prepare students for the lifelong responsibilities of the legal profession.

Internships and Externships

Law students will be deployed throughout the community to intern with law firms, government offices, and non-profit organizations. Law students will be important contributors to the practice of law as they develop the skills they will need as practicing attorneys.

Legal Clinic

With a legal clinic located within the law school, students will have easy access to pro bono opportunities that will allow them to experience first-hand how their legal education and skills can assist those who face legal challenges.
